After a long time in Toronto Prue decided to change
some habits, including living there, thus she traveled to France and went to one
of the most beautiful parks of
Bordeaux. There, while walking through it she had some kind of encounter whit a fifty year old
lady who was sitting on the grass. She was passing by her and she heard:
M.B:Hi darling, would you do me a favor?
P:Sure!
M.B:Could you help me standing up?
P:Oh, of course. Let me help you.
M.B:Thank you sweetheart. (Standing up)
P:You're very welcome.
M.B:What's your name?
P:Prue.
M.B:Prudence eh? A quite difficult name to fit
personalities ehh?
P:Absolutely! Prudence's an old virgin and Prue's a
schoolgirl.
M.B:Are you one of those?
P:No way.
M.B:(Laughing)Sure not. You look different.
P:How come? You barely know me...
M.B:That's right. But I've been observing you for a
while and you lady are more than one of those women. You're cheerful.
P:I can see you're good at it.
M.B:Let me tell you something dear Prue. Me and
this little rogue come here every Sunday to do so, to watch and to listen to this whole play.
P:Play? Oh, by the way, cute fur.
M.B:Thanks. Yeah, a play and now you're part of it,
as a momentary character but you are indeed.
P: Well I'm pleased to be so. Can I be a principal
one?
M.B: Sure as long as you stay, I mean, you're not
from here. You need to settle and come till you are unreplaceable.
P:Hmmm, not sure about settling. Changes may be
done.
M.B:Well, thy will be done. (Silence)
You haven't asked my name.
P:I know. Names are just fashioned recognition
marks. I prefer to remember you with whatever name I could imagine, even not a name itself.
M.B:And what would it be? The old solitary fur
woman?
P:No. It'll be the voyeur.
M.B:Hmmm. I like it.
P: Why would it be like you said?
M.B:I don't know, maybe because I've heard that
before.
P: No way! People and judgment! If you don't understand
it then you judge it ehmmm?
That's how rules work, right?
(Laughter) Why can't they understand that being lonely and with
no worries is good?
(Silence)
M.B:Maybe because it is not.
